  1. Why does it have to be 66 I’m 53 and on Ssi and I struggle to ,there is a lot off us on Ssi who need this to it seems the seniors are getting way to much …im sorry and we got what a little add on cmon I swear they won’t get my vote

    • Amen April
I too am 58 and on ssi we are struggling more and more you get a 29.00 raise for the cost of living Nas they take triple that for our bills and if you get food stamps they take half of those or just take them period .they government should have to trade places with us below poor poverty and see just how they can pay bills and eat buy medications for 29.00 a mont when you only draw 900.00 a Mont..it’s sad ,pathetic and just wrong for them to do us all this way ….

    • I don’t blame you I am considered a senior at 50 years old and I get both SSI AND SSDI and i agree with you I struggle badly every month

    • I said the same thing people with children should be getting something to since we have extra mouth to feed seniors always get a lot for once can others get some assistance

      • Seniors don’t get alot. I worked 55 yrs of my life to get very little. Anyone one on SSD should be thankful it’s offered. People who paid into it for many years are paying for the disabled. It shouldn’t be that I have to share my money I earned to give to some one else. My last 5 yrs of working I had several medical (even cancer) problems and was turned down for disability. I had to struggle to work until I could retire. How is that fair?

        • I agree. Seniors doesn’t hardly get enough to make ends meet. I know my husband draws ssdi and not enough to make ends meet. I have c to work at two jobs, don’t even make 290$ in two weeks on one of them, maybe 224+ on the other one a week. It mostly goes for electric and water and maybe a couple days of grocies. So, really we all could use extra help!!

      • Families with children that are still dependent on them should apply for that child tax credit. I believe you can collect $600. Or more for each child. I believe you can file for it every year at tax time… you might go to irs .gov and find out more about that. Every little bit helps.
        Peace n Love
