  1. I find it hard to believe that I don’t make enough to file taxes. I’m 59, a woman, I’ve already paid my taxes in for 45yrs and somehow, I’m not entitled to some really needed help. I used to make 6 figures but now I have to accept living on less than 1700/mo. I guarantee you I paid in and I owned my own business which means I paid in the same plus all my 20 employees. If I could work, believe I would. I think if u look at my history, I’ve worked and paid taxes since 1976 and feel I should get some help too. Tjos is humiliating.

    • I feel you and I’m going through the same thing I worked in Illinois for 29 years and retired to Florida and only get $ 1,000.00 a month to live on including $ 90. Dollars in food assistance. I don’t understand how the government can clip me out of $800 out of my Social security every month. I was told my move to Florida was the reason. It’s a miracle that I’m just getting by , but the rent’s here in Florida is criminal. Under this present Administration our country is on life support and God help us all !

  5. I live in Illinois and our governor gave out money to the people that live in Chicago but none else received any extra help, I try to live on less than 1200.00 a month and I am getting so far behind in bills, I feel like I am drowning, we need help. Our government employees make way too much money I say they need to take a pay cut and start taking care of the people of the united states of america. Instead of sending our tax dollars to third world countries.
