In Alberta, the general minimum wage is CAD 15 per hour as of October 2023 and 2018 saw the province become the first in Canada to reach that threshold, setting the current rate. With the exception of students under the age of 18, all provincially regulated employees working full-time, part-time, or hourly in the province are subject to Alberta Minimum Wage 2023. So I can update you that there is no Alberta Minimum Wage Increases 2023. Unless they are students under the age of 18, workers in Alberta are required to receive at least the minimum wage. No Minimum Wage Increases for Alberta
The province of Alberta has no plans to raise or alter its minimum wage in coming days so you can read this page for more updates on Alberta CAD Minimum Wage 2023 Latest Update. The province last increased the minimum wage from CAD 13.60 per hour in 2018, this was five years ago.

During school hours, this student-specific wage is applicable for a maximum of 28 hours per week. Students are entitled to the regular MWR of CAD 15 per hour after 28 hours.
